Alexandra Bogos

Salut! I'm a student from Romania currently mastering Law. I'm very passionate about, well, almost everything I set my mind to. I usually come alive at night. I'm nosy so maybe that will make me a good journalist someday. I'm still waiting for my typewriter though.

Students from the Center for European Studies (CES)

CES students are bright and eager personalities from all around the world who attend classes at all faculties of Maastricht University through the comprehensive CES programme of their choice. Programme topics range from ‘Business & Economics in Europe’, 'European Culture & Arts', 'Psychology & Neuroscience in Europe', 'EU Politics, Policy & International Relations', ‘European Society & History’ and 'European Law & Human Rights' amongst many others.

Jeanine van den Bosch

I'm Jeanine (1993), a Cultuurwetenschappen student from Hazerswoude-Dorp in the Netherlands. I like to visit bookstores, to drink coffee in them (Selexyz Domincanen) and to fill my bookshelves with the books I bought there. Yes, I could probably use a second bookcase soon. On this blog I'd like to share my experiences and thoughts with you on student life in Maastricht.

Julian Slotman

I'm from Utrecht, 22 years old, I did a bachelor Econometrics and Operations Research in Maastricht and I am currently doing the masters Public Policy and International Economic Studies. I like to read, write and sail and I'm an active member of both M.S.V. Tragos and ESN Maastricht. If you want to read about my experiences during my semester abroad in Vienna, or read about Oktoberfest or the Ball I participated in, please have a look at my older posts.

Marjolein Drenth

As 3rd year Arts&Culture student (Cultuurwetenschappen for the Dutch), I'll try to make my thoughts and 'brain farts' as interesting as possible. Originally, I'm from Eindhoven (1992), but I lived most of my life in Amersfoort. In the end, I prefer Maastricht; not just because the weather is slightly warmer. At the moment, I'm doing a research project on Sustainable Sanitation; upcoming year I'm planning to start my Master (CAST). So in other words; I'll stick around for a while ;)

Phoebe Ellis-Rees

My name is Phoebe and I’m a first year Bachelor’s student, studying Arts & Culture. I moved to Maastricht in late August from London, England where I was born and raised.

Raluca Popescu

Raised in Bucharest (Romania) and constantly getting annoyed when international bands start their shows with "Good evening, Budapest!" Currently studying towards a MSc in Strategic Marketing. Passionate about reading, skillfully avoiding all things sporty and resolved to change one of the two during 2013.

Sophie Dobschall

The places I consider home are Berlin, Hamburg, and Richmond, Virginia. My BA Media Culture program brought me to my most recent home Maastricht and it has been treating me wonderfully since I moved here in 2010. Things I am most passionate about are loud and depressing music, boycotting parties and alcohol, being a global citizen, and building meaningful human relationships. Trying to keep up my PMA.
