Preuvenemint 2012
After INKOM you might be up for a chillax weekend. A good way to get to know how local people celebrate life is at the well known Preuvenemint.
The 31st Preuvenemint revolves around tasting the food and drinks that the businesses in the area of Maastricht have to offer. It’s the biggest festivity that entirely revolves around tasting in the Netherlands. Around 100.000 ‘food-enthusiasts’ gather at the Vrijthof for the approximately 30 stalls.
All the high class restaurants are there to show off their goods. This is the chance for someone on a student budget to feel important once in a while. The concept is simple; All stalls offer a sneak peak at their normal dishes for a fraction of their normal prices. While wining and dining, live music will be playing all night long.
