For all of you still in town and looking for one more excuse to dodge your thesis, papers and study in general, the 31st of May is going to be a day to remember.
The M3 (Music, Maastrcht, Media) event is the result of a passionate cooperation of master students of Media Culture and will bring together an amazing program including debates, live music and panel discussions at two different venues in the city. The School of Business and Economics and the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences will be the stage for this unique day dedicated to exploring the future of the music industry, the way it changed with the advent of digital technologies and discover more about Maastricht’s music scene in particular.
The list of speakers looks impressive already and so does the M3 blog, which displays a really varied range of interviews and articles introducing the topics which will be discussed at the main event next week.
I know this is quite a late call and probably you are all aware of M3 but, if there is still somebody out there who has not made up his/her mind yet, this is the very last chance to register for this free event.
I come from sunny Italy, from the area of Milan, city of football, fashion and bad politicians. Maastricht will be my home for the next year while I try to become a writer/journalist and attend my Media Culture master at UM. During my almost 27 years on this planet I also lived in Germany and Czech Republic, although my dream is going back to a Mediterranean country. In the cold, Dutch rainy days I keep busy with writing, getting upset about Italian politics and learning about archaeology. The past is always better :)
