…Oh how beautiful blue the sky appeared to me this morning! A fresh breeze calmly flattered my skin when awaking with an odour of coffee in my heaven consistent of pop-songs and pink candyfloss . I imagine myself dancing joyfully on a cloud, worrying about nothing but how marvelous it must be considered to live. Not only my own, indestructible optimism towards all earthy problems, but even all people themselves considerably know what the right thing to do is. To illustrate my point, once there was a butterfly……….
Alright, story’s end will not happen- for there was no “story” to tell this week at all. My aim of showing prospectives how life COULD possibly be might include some suggestions on their living situation as well as all other subjects, many of which I fortunately was allowed to experience already. Concerning the first point, then, there is one thing to better avoid when being housed abroad-namely living with ignorant, choleric, pedantic and- we’ll return to this point later on in my weekly picture-section – overly uncomfortable people.
My ACTUAL plan for this week was featuring the coming exams by means of photo- and video-material. For I felt really powerless due to perceived fivehundredthousand fights promoted within the house, I cannot but will try solving issues most urgent to me right now. Next week, I”ll try giving you a picture of how library-life looks like— 7 days before the exam!
It all got better when I happened to discover the chapel on the onze lieve vrouwenplein. I considerably spent some time here during the week- have a look and feel inspired by the silence, hundreds of candles and a truly breathtaking atmosphere.
